    Air Conditioning Repair & Service

Summer can get warm in Yakima, which is why we are proud to offer an array of A/C services to make sure you stay cool while driving your vehicle. Whether you are out of refrigerant and need a certified technician to recharge your coolant or are experiencing issues with your air simply not cooling, we will find the solution. We hold the MACS-Air Conditioning Certification and are able to legally handle all A/C issues with your vehicle, including 1234yF refrigerant systems, a role that not every mechanic shop can take on. This allows us to be a one-stop location for all of your auto repair needs.

  • Brake Flush

    Brake Flush

While most people are aware that their brakes need to be changed every few years, not as many people realize that they also need to book a brake flush every few years. If your brake fluid is compromised you won't notice any visible signs the way you will with your brakes, but when your car won't stop suddenly you will wish that you had taken the task seriously. During a brake flush, all old fluid is drained, and new fluid is put in to ensure that you never have to worry about your brakes failing you on the road.

  • Coolant Flush

    Coolant Flush

More commonly referred to as antifreeze, coolant is responsible for keeping your car’s engine at the right temperature in hot or cold temperatures. You don't want your engine to freeze or overheat or you will find yourself on the side of the road calling an auto shop for help with a tow. A coolant flush helps reduce the chance of chemical buildups while also ensuring that the fluids are clean, effective, and at the proper levels. It is a good idea to book a coolant flush at least once every two years.

  • Diagnostics

    Diagnostics

Not sure what is wrong with your vehicle? Don’t worry, at G&F Automotive we frequently help diagnose problems that seem to have no obvious origin. Modern vehicles are extremely complex due to the integrated computer software and hundreds of mechanical components. If something isn't working right, we will get to the bottom of the situation and offer you car repair solutions that are effective and accurate the first time around. We have diagnostic tools in our bays that ensure your car repair is never a guessing game.

  • Oil Change

    Oil Change

An oil change is the easiest and most cost-effective way to protect the engine of your vehicle. Your car's engine is like its brain, it doesn't matter how anything else looks or operates if your engine isn't working properly. The best way to protect it is to properly change your oil on schedule so that all grime and dirt are removed and there is enough oil in the reservoir to properly lubricate the engine reducing friction and signs of wear and tear.

  • Transmission Flush

    Transmission Flush

You don't have to know a lot about cars to know that the transmission is the one area of a vehicle that you don't want to go out on you. A transmission flush is great to boost the longevity of your car's transmission. The process removes grime and sludge from your vehicle's transmission and replaces it with new fluids that are able to properly lubricate all moving pieces. While every vehicle has its own manufacturer recommendations, most vehicles will benefit from a transmission flush every three to five years.
